Hi. I'm Clare.
I'm a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist based in Limerick city, offering support to adults (18+) both in-person and online across Ireland.
Life can be challenging at times, and it’s not uncommon to feel overwhelmed or unsure of how to cope. For some, the effects of past or ongoing trauma can continue to shape daily life in ways that may not always be fully understood.
My practice provides a calm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences safely and at your own pace. Together, we can work to understand what’s happening for you, develop greater self-awareness, and find new ways of responding that support your wellbeing.
My aim is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and at ease in yourself, while building the confidence and clarity to make meaningful choices in your life.
“Being able to feel safe with other people is probably the single most important aspect of mental health; safe connections are fundamental to meaningful and satisfying lives.”
Therapy can help you navigate many of life’s challenges, from everyday stress to deeper emotional pain. I offer on-to-one therapy for adults in a confidential and supportive environment. I work with a variety of issues – some of which are listed below.
Guidance and support through life’s transitions — from relationship changes and family difficulties to loneliness, identity exploration, or uncertainty about the future.
A gentle, informed approach to complex mental health challenges such as OCD, bipolar disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders, and neurodivergence.
Supporting you through anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, grief, and emotional overwhelm.
Therapy as a space for reflection, not just recovery. Build confidence, set boundaries, clarify your values, and create lasting change from the inside out.
